Inspiration: Old Sailors & The Cal Game

Dressing like I was heading to the Saturday Cal Berkeley game was not intentional. Though I wasn't at the game this was however the outfit of choice for learning how to skateboard in an empty parking lot. Full coverage of the body decreases the high probability of scraping the hell out of my elbows, knees, tummy, bum and other epidermis covered parts.

Mimi modeling the Chandelier Necklace, moments before being crushed to the ground.

Though most of this outfit remains store bought (until the day I learn to cobbler my own boots) the hefty ornamentation on my neck is purely homemade from vintage chandelier crystals, glass beads and some satin ribbon.

Sunglasses: Michael Kors
Cardigan: A.R.I.
Tank Top: H&M
Jeans: Jordache (Yea, I said Jordache. They're back alright?!)
Boots: Seychelles
Necklace: SPL
Dog: Found her at a flea market

  1. I love the necklace! I'll have to post a pic when I wear the earings I made out of those chandelier pieces sometime. Good work Shiu Pei!

  2. You're dressed too cute to be falling down scuffing yourself up, or cutting yourself with busted chandelier crystals. Hope you stayed upright and adorable, my friend. I see the chunky beads are hefty enough for those chandelier pieces...hmm, I need to re-work my necklace attempt. Awesome job!
